Tom Mole is a portraitist and figurative painter. He studied illustration at Bath Spa University and painting at Sir John Cass School of Art.
He strives to produce subtly detailed, life-sized canvasses that resonate with the subject’s personality. His figurative work often incorporates elements from poetry and classical literature.
On a smaller scale, Tom has produced a series of still-life works that engage with the physical manifestation of science and materials.
Tom regularly exhibits his work, including group exhibitions at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the RWA, The Threadneedle Prize and Somerset Art Weeks.
